Specifically, does anyone know of any that are out there? In our ward we have one young man with literacy issues serious enough that he cannot read scripture, but, according to him, he can and does read comics. I've seen the ones done by Allred but apparently they are no longer in print. Anyone know of any? Thanks.

The link above is to the background about the comic strip from the Deseret News.
These are being re-published online a panel or two at a time, starting here. Each new episode is published on Sunday morning. Based on last week's episode, tomorrow should feature Captain Moroni's sweep of the Kingmen, maybe even Teancum's tragic end.
I'm not sure all the links work from week to week, but you can search the site for the next installment.

As I recall there are three of a series that got started but didn't have enough interest to continue. Whether or not you can find them on the internet or at freecycle or craigslist, I don't know.

Mike Allred started some comic books but he only got through three. I have the first two volumes and would like to get the third but seems the ones that are available are expensive.
