I would love to help but I am not so good at these things. I am not even sure I understand the question. On my computer I just put a cd in the drive and a little window pops up that helps me get it burned.
But, let's see if making this a featured topic and changing the title help.

We do this with USB key (memory in a stick that plugged right into your USB port,) sometimes referred to as a flash drive. You just drag and drop the files you wish to copy.
As far as CDs... you should have a program on your computer... try putting a blank disk in. As Gracie mentioned a window generally pops up. Since I don't use windows I have forgotten how this works exactly... but the standard burn program that comes with Windows installation for the CD burners is I think called Roxio... Look and see if you have that. But whatever you have the programs are usually user friendly.

This has been a very weird thread. Next time I shall put a collar around it and tie a strip of hunter orange on its tail.
That aside, thanks for the info. I would love to take a computer class, but that's not going to happen and I am to ask such basic questions. We just got FotoFusion, though, and my enthusiasm to play with it is outweighing my reluctance to demonstrate my ineptitude.
Hmmm. Well, I just got everything rolling and up popped a message that says, "The File HPZid412 sys' on hp cd is needed. Type the path where the file is located then click OK. Now what the heck does that mean?

I don't what it means... but honestly, it doesn't SOUND good... Off hand I'd say your CD burner's installation is corrupted...

Do you have a disk that came with your computer that purports to be something like a startup disk or a system restore disk? If you do, you could, minimize the error message window, put the HP disk in the CD Rom drive, search for that HPZid412.sys file, and then (if you find it) type it's location into the error message window.
Or, you could just ignore what I posted (Sorry, didn't see the part where you were successful). Did you restart the computer or something?

If the problem is finding a program that will burn the CD's for you, I use Burn4Free. It's very convenient. In fact recently I've been burning a set of audio CD's for someone that wants the BOM. The files on my computer are MP3, and unlike some other programs, Burn4Free does not require me to first convert it back to a standard audio file (WAV). So all I need to is select which files to put on the CD and then click on create audio CD.

I think I can pitch in half a penny to help with the bill. Anyone want to pitch in the other half penny?

Is that therapy couch located in the Cabin or on the Porch? dwelt, if someone tells you it's in the Fortress, beware.
