I was one who grew up looking at Friberg's artwork in my copy of The Book of Mormon growing up. Not understanding artistic license and symbolism, I really thought Nephi and the Sons of Helaman were really big and brawny. My favorite is his Prayer at Valley Forge which, as a military family, means a great deal to us. No matter where we live in the world, we try to make a point of hanging that one. It's nice to see it being sold to other military members not of my faith at bazaars and kiosks on military bases.
The anecdote at the end still makes me giggle.
