I miss Kathy. For some reason, her sense of humor just really makes me laugh. I do have one quibble--when she says that it's easy to "look around my office"* and decide what to throw away. I am looking around my office, and I disagree. That is all.
*She probably meant her office. That would make more sense.

My biggest concern in thinking about my own death is what will happen to my children. They're my life and my responsibility and of course they're living people who will be most affected. But my secret biggest fear and dread - the thing that keeps me up sometimes - is not my poor motherless children but the reaction of the people who will have to come into my home and clean it out. Whenever sticking something in a drawer, I ask myself what people's reaction will be when they throw it out when I'm gone. Sometimes this has me not save things. Occasionally it has me go out of my way to save something I'd never save otherwise. Posts: 2117 | Registered: Aug 2007
