I really appreciate the thought that we should look for the blessings that The Lord has for us, and that they are not necessarily the ones we think we want, or the ones that outsiders think we need.
It really must be a beautiful gift to have the ability to see that.

Thanks for the reminder that both blessings and burdens are often defined by perception. Sometimes when one compliments another about their grace in bearing a burden, the response is confusion...because the responder clearly doesn't experience the situation as a burden. It is not a stone. Exactly.

That reminds me of something that happened to me when I was a teenager, and it was my anger rather than illness that was healed. Thank you. God gives us what we need to accomplish the missions we have.
