The Joseph Smith Papers online just did a new dump of texts on its website, including an early manuscript from the Book of Abraham, and the Egyptian Alphabet from the Kirtland Egyptian Papers! This is a BIG deal!

The Kirtland Egyptian Papers, including the Egyptian Alphabet, have never been properly published before. They, along with the BoA manuscript, are very important for research on the developing construction of thought during these periods.

The Book of Abraham manuscript transcriptions only recently became available in a very expensive hardcover collection.

Plus, just for fun, they're the kinds of documents detractors always said the Church was 'trying to hide'.

As a recreational researcher myself, these documents alone are a goldmine.

Taalcon,

That is cool. Those documents have always puzzled me--its good that they are freely available now.
