Well, the assumption is that if you agree to the Charter (which is a condition of joining Nauvoo), you either are LDS with a testimony of the restored gospel or a non-member likewise with a strong belief in the restored gospel who just hasn't been baptized yet.
And, most of us are adults. At least in age, if not behaviour... Posts: 2402 | Registered: Oct 2005

But seeing as you did, I will be 21 again in a few weeks time, heck, this will be my second birthday at Nauvoo, where does the time go?

Lauren, I am over thrity now. But I remember 14 very well. It is great to be at that age as that is when you start to learn about topics more in depth and are able to form strong views. Plus, there is a lot of fun to be had!

Hi Lauren- Welcome to you! I am 3.7 decades old! In my heart, I am young though- I work w/the 8-11 year olds in one calling, so it makes me feel young and we have fun.
On the other hand, I work in a nursing home. So sometimes I feel sad w/the challenges that those in their 70s -90s feel.
So I like to come to Nauvoo and enjoy a laugh or two!

"Hi Lauren... in your vernacular, I'm "older than dirt" and "not someone to be trusted (if you'll get that reference"
Anyone under 30 isn't old enough to get that reference! (I haven't heard that line since I was under 30--or maybe if I do hear it now I just repress it )

I'm old enough to be everybody's mother, and even the grandmother or great-grandmother of others... how did this happen!! Don't the teens have a place to talk? Not that I don't welcome Lauren with open arms... but she doesn't want only us "oldies" but goodies... anyway, Lauren, hope you find this place interesting... from the beautiful central Oregon Coast...
